TEDx Grand Rapids
Welcome, TED, to Grand Rapids. We’ve been a fan of the TED Conference for years, previously having been a fan of its founder and information architecture icon Richard Saul Wurman. Information Anxiety is still among my favorite books. I attended TED twice in those earlier days, when it was more like a secret club that could fit in one room, before Chris Anderson converted the franchise into a global phenomenon. I’m glad to see good ideas like this spread, and now locally with TEDxGrandRapids. It’s why we’re supporting the effort.
