Sharon Oleniczak, besides being a brilliant designer and artist, is a great builder of teams. Finding and organizing a productive team of graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, fabricators, printers, writers, and packagers and keeping them moving toward dozens of deadlines while producing great, award-garnering, breathtaking work may sound simple, but you'll just have to trust us when we say it is not. When the project is complex, the influencers many, the means unclear from the outset, Sharon's calm and graceful method clears the path. With firm hand and good wit, she places the right people on a smart path to build the best possible communications tools -- messages in media that will move hearts and minds. It's amazing to watch, actually, the product of years in the business, and well-timed breaks to travel far and wide with Chuck. She runs and runs to manage stress, and takes daily walks through the woods with her boy terrier, Tug.

I had mentioned to him that I wanted to learn more about the Web; he suggested I dive right in. From a communications standpoint, I [...]
